Starlet Tori Spelling and her son Liam, are the first celebrity pairing to kick off a new ad campaign for SKECHERS USA, Inc. called "Nothing Compares to Family." This promotion, slated to run through 2009, stars some of today's popular celebrity families and benefits children's charities with ads breaking in celebrity weekly magazines and other fashion and lifestyle glossies.

SKECHERS plans to rotate a variety of different celebrity families throughout the campaign, featuring mothers and small children and adult celebrities with their sisters, brothers, parents and grandparents. At the heart of the campaign is SKECHERS' commitment to family. Each ad will be tagged with a charity of the celebrity's choice, ones that are family-related, such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International or Habitat for Humanity, which builds homes for families. SKECHERS joins Tori in support of The K.I.D.S. Foundation.

Since 1985: K.I.D.S. has fulfilled its promise of bringing smiles to children in need by distributing over a half-billion dollars worth of new merchandise while keeping overhead costs under three percent. In 2007, nearly $62 million worth of new products was distributed for the benefit of almost five million children who live in poverty and suffer from distressed conditions.

Fashion meets fun with Class Attire's chalkboard t-shirt. This young company, known for its "Chalk-it" chalk pocket, was started by Jin-Yen Huynh and Christopher Carew in New York City. With four designs native to New York, these shirts give people the chance to fill in the blanks, truly expressing themselves.

It all started in 2006 when Jin-Yen saw an experimental t-shirt Christopher had jokingly put together. Realizing the potential this idea had, the two decided to make some shirts to see what would happen. After perfecting the chalkboard t-shirt formula, the response was overwhelming.

You can actually write on the chalkboard shirt and even erase - just like a chalkboard in school. You can erase with a dry cloth, but for superior erasing use a damp cloth.

Class Attire also offers custom designs. They can do any silhouettes in short sleeves, long sleeves, hoodies, tanks etc. Each piece comes with the "chalk-it" chalk pocket and of course extra chalk.

Creative, trendy and always comfort-conscious, Marilyn Tov's designs draw inspiration from her native Paris and her East Asian heritage.

As far as she can remember Marilyn always wanted to be a fashion designer. Marilyn fulfilled her dreams, went to fashion school, and then later moved to New York where she started her own line - Marilyn Tov.

Today Marilyn lives in New York with her family where she designs and produces all of her clothing.

"My clothes are very feminine. I like to mix very high quality fabrics, textures with modern cuts and shapes. I like solid and subtle colors. I don't often use prints unless I discovered one that I love. I think it's funny how children's clothes are always have huge and very colorful prints. The shape is always the same, only the prints changes. I think we can make children look very happy and cute with trendy, modern and solid color clothes," explains Marilyn.

Marilyn recently launched her Spring/Summer 09 collection at Playtime Paris. Her new collection is inspired by the beach - it's very flowy, has comfortable shapes and is easy to wear.
